West End Harbor is not your typical condominium. It was developed by a local marina owner and avid fisherman, not by an outside developer. It was created specifically to center around family, the beach and your love of boating. We offer spacious floor plans and amenities & features that are unparallel to anything else in Mexico Beach.
Mexico Beach is unique in that it is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico giving fisherman direct access to some of the best fishing in the entire state. Grouper, Snapper, Cobia, King Mackeral, Dolphin and Wahoo are all caught within 7 miles of land. All this means less running time and more fishing! For those of you with a competitive nature, West End Harbor's is adjacent to Marquardt's Marina (www.marquardtsmarina.com) which hosts several exciting fishing tournaments each year. These tournaments draw huge crowds to Mexico Beach and is fun for the entire family. And by being part of West End Harbor you will have a front row seat for weigh-in and all the action.
And of course there is plenty to do other than fish. St. Joe Bay which is only a short boat ride from your dock is one of only two spots in the entire state to scallop. There are bountiful bays and inlets to do some trout and red fishing as well. And you definitely have to plan a day to take the family to either the "Shark Hole" or the "The Point" and anchor up for the afternoon and walk the long stretches of white beach and enjoy a picnic. At West End Harbor you are only one block away from the gorgeous white sand beach and calm Gulf waters that Mexico Beach has become famous for. Unlike our neighbors, Mexico Beach doesn?t experience a strong undertow current making it a safe family beach.
West End Harbor offers a laid-back lifestyle that promotes all the best that Mexico Beach has to offer. Whether you want to spend an afternoon on the sugar white sand beach, or out on the Gulf's blue water in your boat, or relax poolside at one of Mexico Beach's largest swimming pool you can do it all at West End Harbor. It won?t take long for you to fall in love with this quaint coastal community.
